I have lived and worked in the west of Scotland since 1988 when I came to study for a music degree at the RCS. 

 

I began to follow my passion for painting in 2010 starting with watercolours and more recently moving towards acrylic and mixed media. I am inspired by Scottish landscapes, the rhythm of the seasons and motion of the sea. I hope this combination of the love of music and nature is apparent in my work.

I exhibit annually at the Pittenweem Arts Festival and at various local craft markets. I coordinate an art exhibition with 20% of proceeds going to various charities. These include Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity, Teenage Cancer Trust, Kidney Kids Scotland and Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, all in memory of an inspirational girl close to our hearts, Abigail Hall.

I mostly paint with acrylic on canvas or board and am happy to consider commissions. I sell greetings cards and prints on Etsy
